We began life as an advertising agency nearly 35 years ago and we’ve been redefining ourselves ever since. We learned early on that an overly defined methodology was not our way. Instead, our constants are curiosity and pragmatism – two values that enable us to help our clients forge new paths while still taking care of their day-to-day reality.

Our beliefs have been shaped by our experiences, both good and bad. Yes, we’ve read the marketing textbooks but nothing beats getting your hands dirty.
We don’t believe in a unifying theory of communication – there is no magic bullet in a world where everything communicates.
We do believe the most effective form of communication is a great product or service.
Our greatest successes have come when we’ve been able to work across silos within our clients’ organisations.
The Internet is ushering in an era of transparency, hence our focus on helping clients deliver what they promise.
We believe the way people relate to brands is changing profoundly. ‘Engagement’ is hard to define but we think the successful brands of the future will be those that can craft meaningful, two-way relationships with their customers.
Facts & figures
We were founded in 1976 with LEGO as our sole client. They are still a client today.
As of June 2012, we numbered 70 employees.
We have some of the longest-serving employees in the business. Partner Christian Faber celebrated his 25-year anniversary in November 2011.
We are 100% independent. We have eight partners, all of whom still work full time at the agency.
