Hi DOSMP.I’m the webmaster of RGB Classic Games. When I sttaerd the site, it will still possible to play most DOS games without an emulator in the latest Windows operating system (XP). Between Vista’s new video drivers and the inability of 64-bit versions of Windows to run 16-bit software, DOS games can no longer be played without an emulator or virtualization suite.Transitioning to a post-16-bit world means that the site needs a much heavier focus on assisting visitors to play the site’s games. The easiest solution is to have pre-installed copies of the games that visitors can play right in their browser, which we’ve had for a few years now. But I also want to do what you’re doing: not just help people play the games, but help them find people to play against. I’m interested in working together towards that goal.
